Many of you have asked what the process is for my legislation and other bills you are following. This graphic is from the Texas Legislative Council and helps illustrate what happens when a legislator has filed a bill.

 

There have been over 8,000 pieces of legislation filed this session, and as a freshman I'm pleased that so many of mine are making good progress!
